The first thing to mention about this family campsite is its location! Set in 5 hectares, (that’s 50,000sqm of nature) this 3* campsite is set on the banks of the Dordogne River and is surrounded by no less than 4 spectacular chateaux that are visible from the campsite, providing a truly magnificent vista.

The campsite has options of regular or larger pitches, for Campervans, Caravans or Tents, available with electric hookup, or not. Each pitch offers an element of privacy through careful planting. There are also 19 mobile homes, 5 lodge tents, and 1 group gite available to rent.
This site has a lot to offer campers, including a heated swimming pool, with a separate paddling pool for the little ones. There is direct access to the Dordogne River for more natural aquatic fun! There is a well-equipped playground for the kids, and for older campers there are badminton, football and pétanque pitches. During the summer months (July/August) the campsite Animators will entertain young and old with events in the site’s natural setting, such as orienteering, creative workshops, races, hiking trails and a night hike! All of which are free! There are also themed food evenings, open air cinema, and concerts.
The on-site snack bar serves a delicious homemade menu (I can attest to the total deliciousness of the homemade burger and fries!!) Which you can eat-in or take away (in reusable pizza bwat – bwat (bwatbox.be) boxes and reusable burger boxes. You can also order your bread and pastries for collection the following morning.
The on-site shop sells only local “Perigord” specialties including duck breast, and beers (again…delicious!) There is a “mini-mart” within a comfortable 15-minute walk for any non-regional essentials.
There is a self-service laundry, and it is possible to rent towels and bedding, and baby equipment is also available. There is also a fully functioning shower and toilet block, campervan facilities and pets are allowed.
The owners have also arranged for some rather special partnerships, including Hot Air Ballooning, canoeing and bike rental – all of which are delivered to the site. (Just watching the balloons take flight on a summers evening with such a spectacular backdrop made this admins day!
