Our paddock is now full of the most spectacular “weeds”!
But, as A.A. Milne once said “Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”
And how right he was. Not for them the careful cultivation, with just the right soil, and feed, and regular watering. These beauties literally “survive” with the bare essentials of just sun and water, and give us a stunning tableaux of shape and colour.
Sitting watching the multitude of insect life, buzzing, crawling or flying to reach the flowers and their delicious nectar, is one of my favourite ways to waste hours, especially when I’m armed with my camera.
